Yes, he does look really hot, but is this actually a picture of what he looks like NOW, that’s what I’m wondering. I adore this photo, but he was definately a lot fatter and older than this in most of his later videos. Nice piece of spin doctoring to get a new set of fans I expect. A repackaged Amr. Never mind, Khalik Maaya is just such a superb track on this album I can’t stop listening to it. I wouldn’t say the rest of the album is particularly great compared to Tamally Ma’ak which I’m into at the moment. I hate synthetic keyboard backing and that is what lets the El Lilady album down. Whoever decided to use that on most of these tracks made a serious error. Where is the fantastic playing of original musicians that marked his previous albums? Can’t he afford to pay them anymore? But if 9 tracks are synth backing, Khalik Maaya makes up for it. I shall simply play it 10 times and forget the rest of the tracks!
